OPEI welcomes new member companies who desire to be counted among the leaders in the outdoor power equipment industry. Our strength is in our member companies. The expertise and experience that each member company adds to the many activities that we, as an association, undertake on behalf of the industry.

Questionaire:

The reporting of F.O.B. factory net sales for dues calculations is a requirement for regular membership.

The dues that you invest in OPEI represent a pro-rata share of the Institute's budget based on your F.O.B. factory net sales.

Sales information is reported to an outside accounting firm, not OPEI, which computes the amount to be billed and notifies OPEI for invoicing purposes only. To determine membership dues for each year, each member's and affiliates' sales are requested for the previous 12-month period ending March 31. New investment schedules become effective on September 1, the beginning of OPEI's fiscal year. Members joining after September 1 invest on a pro-rata basis.

Sales are defined as F.O.B. factory net sales by product line of OPEI-represented products, including exports from the U.S. and imports sold in the U.S. by your company and all affiliates of your company. Include both gas and electric powered equipment.
